To The Officers of the Wallingford Elementary School PTO: 

          The Faculty and Staff of Wallingford Elementary School (WES) would like to thank you for all your good work for kids. We were sorry to hear of Nan Dubin’s resignation; she was a strong presence on the PTO and will be missed as one of its leaders. 

          Although teachers, like many parents we suspect, are not always able to attend PTO meetings we do appreciate the positive support the PTO has provided. The PTO has been very open to staff and parent suggestions for projects that support and expand activities at WES. 

          The PTO has promoted a caring and active WES community and provided for kids in many ways:

·       Performance programs

·       Artist residencies

·       Mini-grants for teachers

·       Staff Appreciation Luncheon

·       Support of the Holiday Craft Fair by organizing the Luncheon

·       Book Fairs

·       Fundraising

·       After School Activities

·       Gifts for Sixth Graders

·       Holiday Shopping for kids

·       Support for classroom activities

·       A local sponsor of “Reading Is Fundamental”

These are but a few of the many services provided by the PTO. Please know that we appreciate all that you do. We clearly understand that vibrant and positive core leadership of the PTO impacts the Wallingford Elementary School community. Working together we make good things happen for the kids.
